Hi, I’m Michelle Vu (she/hers), and I recently received my M.S. in Counseling (Student Development in Higher Education) at CSU Long Beach. My work focuses on academic advising, student success, and retention support for diverse student populations, particularly first-generation and underserved students. Through roles with USC’s College Advising Corps, CSULB’s College of Education, and UC Irvine’s Undeclared/Undecided Academic Advising Office, I have developed experience in academic planning, progress monitoring, outreach programming, and case management within high-volume advising environments. I’m passionate about holistically supporting students and helping them navigate the complexities of higher education. In my free time, I love hiking, traveling, crocheting, and trying new food/matcha/boba places with my friends and family. A fun fact about me is that I have a 6-year-old Aussie doodle named Charlie!
