THE HDSI ALUMNI FUND
The Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute Alumni Fund supports the highest priorities of the department. Support of the fund includes empowering student excellence through alumni-led workshops, seminars, and career development opportunities, fostering an alumni community & network and bridging pathways for alumni & current students to connect with employers.
HDSI STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Fund Name: Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute Student Scholarship Project
The Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) Undergraduate Scholarship Program supports multidisciplinary student-led projects. Unlike lab-directed projects, students will be able to choose their own research topics and lead the research process. Scholarships will provide opportunities for students to work closely with a mentor to develop analytical skills, develop data science portfolios, and foster novel data-driven approaches to problem solving.
INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIP ALLIANCE
Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute’s Industry Partner Alliance seeks to create a crucial two-way channel between industry and academia to foster a full ecosystem of data science education and research.
The Industry Partners Alliance will work with your organization to identify specific goals and serve as your connection to data science talent, research, faculty, continued education, and leadership at UC San Diego.
