The Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) has established funding to support HDSI undergraduate and graduate students during their time at UC San Diego.
Funding from HDSI is designed to provide Data Science students with financial support in travel for conferences and/or competitions related to the field of Data Science along with support for discretionary funding assistance to assist with academic endeavors at UCSD.
Students are required to be either an undergraduate student majoring in Data Science or graduate student in the MS or PhD in Data Science programs. Students must submit the appropriate funding application (below) to be considered. Funding is provided on an individual basis only and student organizations are not eligible.
Applicants who may receive additional funding from a secondary source from UCSD must disclose such information in their application.
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis subject to available funds.
