HDSI founding faculty member Dr. Lucila Ohno-Machado has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine, considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine.

Dr. Ohno-Machado is chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at UC San Diego Health, and professor of medicine and associate dean for informatics and technology at the School of Medicine. Learn more.
