The Amariuta Lab at the University of California San Diego is currently hiring for a postdoctoral researcher.The Amariuta Lab is located in the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute and the Department of Medicine, Division of Biomedical Informatics (amariutalab.org). 

Our lab’s mission is to enhance preventive and interventive genomic personalized medicine, especially in underrepresented groups.

Our research focus is building innovative predictive models of genetically inherited disease, with a special focus on immune-mediated diseases. This postdoctoral fellowship is funded by the Hartwell Foundation, an organization dedicated to learning causes and devising solutions for childhood illnesses. The Amariuta Lab has received funding to create innovative personalized genomics solutions for predicting childhood onset asthma years before clinical asthma diagnostics are available and thus expediting the path to effective treatments.
